When STARCO talks about agricultural machinery, we mean trailers and trailed implements, tractors, combine harvesters, ATVs and forestry machines. It is a large area and STARCO brings all of its design and development experience into focus in this segment.

We understand the importance of tyre design in this field. Durability, low ground pressure, puncture resistant, long life and self-cleaning tread patterns are all important and many applications have to transfer easily from working the field to being trailed on the highway.

The width of the wheel can make a big difference to the performance of the tyre in some applications and our manufacturing methods enable us to fine-tune the combination to produce optimum results. And since Schaad is now also a member of the STARCO group, we can offer dual-wheel solutions for tractors, ATVs and other vehicles.

In addition, STARCO works closely with ATV manufacturers to provide tyres and wheels with their chosen specifications for their relevant industry or market. Our major tyre partner in this sector is Kenda, who is at the forefront of ATV tyre development worldwide.

Many manufacturers want to be sure that if something is specified in OEM it is readily available in the aftermarket. We have a large stock supply throughout Europe to make sure that we give our OEM partners the backup they demand, whether it’s a specialist low volume tyre or a standard high volume tyre.
